Our initial cleaning is a thorough deep clean to get your home space to the level where we can easily and efficiently maintain our standard of cleanliness.

These are the standard tasks we concentrate when we clean your home during an initial cleaning:

• Inside of microwave.
• Spot clean walls and fingerprints.
• Wash baseboards and chair rails.
• Vacuum upholstered furniture.
• Clean glass on entrance and French doors; clean sliding doors and tracks.
• Remove cobwebs.
• Empty wastebaskets and remove trash.
• Make beds and change linens.
• Scour and sanitize bathrooms.
• Pick-up and straighten.
• Clean exterior of kitchen cabinetry and appliances.
• Clean kitchen table and counters; sanitize sink.
• Vacuum and mop floors.
• Clean mirrors and glass.
• Dust furniture and decorative items.
• Outside of cabinets.

Laundry Service

With our laundry service option, you can have Maids in Blue cleaners wash, dry, fold and put away your clothes while we do your home cleaning. No need to waste your time doing laundry yourself! Our cleaners are laundry experts. Every customer's laundry is looked after separately and diligently by our cleaners, who take great care to preserve the quality of your clothes and fabrics. 

*Please note that laundry is only offered as an additional service in conjunction with a home cleaning. We do not provide laundry service by itself. There must be a laundry room in the building or washer / dryer in your apartment to use this service. Customer must provide detergent and fabric softener. Please also note that we do not iron your clothes. 

*Please note that we charge extra for this service and you will find that an additional cost for laundry service is standard across the industry that specializes in laundry service while doing your home cleaning. Take a deep breath. Smile. Laundry has never felt this easy.

MOVE IN / MOVE OUT

These are the standard tasks when we clean your home at a Move-in/Move-Out Cleaning:

• Wash window ledges and interior glass.
• Clean ceiling fans and wall hangings.
• Spot clean walls and fingerprints.
• Wash baseboards and chair rails.
• Clean glass on entrance and French doors; clean sliding doors and tracks.
• Remove cobwebs.
• Sanitize bathrooms.
• Clean exterior and interior of kitchen cabinetry, oven and refrigerator.
• Clean counters; sanitize sink.
• Vacuum and mop floors.
• Clean mirrors and glass.
• Vacuum inside closets and wash closet shelves.
• Clean oven, fridge and cabinets.
